INFJ "Skitty Kitty": Wants to be affectionate, but never quite overcomes nervousness. "Intrepid" is NOT her middle name. Likes to watch the proceedings from a safe spot, such as the top of the staircase

ESFP "The Hedonist": The social cat. Inside, outside, contact-oriented. Wallows in petting. Lies in the sun on the driveway. Promiscuously affectionate, even with cat-haters. Meows a lot

I have one of each. INFJ seems to vomit her food up a lot... think it's because she's so anxious. She's been doing it her whole life and she's 15. She's incredibly healthy so it's obviously not affecting her negatively (just our carpets). She'll sometimes run up to me for a stroke and then decide she's actually too scared afterall and run off. Can be very affectionate though.

Why does it always have to be cats?

Why can't we describe personality types with different types of cars?

I've just got to organize my thoughts first. I'll do it soon enough, though.

I would say my cat Sooty is an ISFP. She is shy around everyone but me or my girlfriend, whom she adores. She is very, very sweet and loving, not a mean bone in her body. She isn't pretentious or haughty.

Overall she is a very lovable, sweet little kitty---but she has no real eccentricities that would suggest a dominant intuitive, like my mother's cat. My mother's cat has so many weird quirks that I strongly suggest her as an INTJ or an ENTJ

My cat Milti is most probably an INTP. She's very very shy of strangers and will run under the table if anyone strange approaches her. She looks adorable and a lot of people try to make friends with her but she sits as far from them as she can and eyes their every move suspiciously. She also hates to be patted, petted, or fussed, unless she's with my dad. He's the only person in the world whom she tolerates - barely. She has a great sense of humor - she likes to hide in a corner in the dark and then, as I walk past her, pounce out and bite my ankles - and only mine! She seems to know she can get away with it when it's me. And she'll also stand up on her back legs and bite my dad's elbow or scratch the back of his chair as a gentle reminder for him to feed her.
She might be an F, but in most cases she seems to be quite unaffected by emotional tension around her. She's ever-alert, and quite short-tempered, and can be riled up very easily, but for the most part she seems to know how to keep her emotions in check.

Edit: No, she is a J. an INTJ.

    Exclamation No

If I were going to type a cat, I would use a different inventory and classification scheme.

    1. Clawing function -

How annoyingly does your cat claw around the place?
Does your cat stick its claws into your leg when it jumps off you?
Do you find yourself saying "ouch" a lot?

K for clawing G for gentle.

    2. Surprise attack function -

Does your cat jump on you when you're not expecting it?
Does you cat frequently hide in dark places?
Does your cat run around the house like a maniac for absolutely no reason?
Are you able to pet your cat for more than 4 seconds?

C for crazy, D for docile.

    3. Anus function -

Does your cat often advertise his or her own anus to the public?

A for anal, T for tailing.

    3 functions, 8 types.

    KCA - The Britney Spears
    KCT - The Possessive
    KDA - El Don Juan
    KDT - The Assassin
    GCA - The Manic Depressive
    GCT - The Distraught Lover
    GDA - The Bore
    GDT - The Ornament

My cat Emma is a total KCA. Heavy on the A. She lifts her butt in the air every time someone touches her.

Lloyd is a KDT. He tries to be gentle with the claws, but they often come out when he's kneading my boobies.
