This statement has some interesting implications.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

Do Es have a hard time with beign silent for a few hours?

To me it look like that most of people that get thrown out from lectures are E that can't control themselfs.

So, it can happen that Es can't stop talking after all.
This can explain many things I have seen in my life.

i wouldn't say can't, but i'd be lying if i didn't admit that compared to the other E types i've encountered, i'm an introvert.

We need feedback, a form of mirror, to develop our idea's and increase the indepth. While introverts are perfectly capable and self-sufficient of doing this on their own, an Extrovert has to channel there ideas into a external object.
"Where can you flee? What road will you use to escape us? Our horses are swift, our arrows sharp, our swords like thunderbolts, our hearts as hard as the mountains, our soldiers as numerous as the sand. Fortresses will not detain us, nor arms stop us. Your prayers to God will not avail against us. We are not moved by tears nor touched by lamentations."

I have no trouble whatsoever being silent for a few hours.

If a go an entire day without talking, I do feel a bit strange, though.
