Default Do you ever have those days . . .

when language seems really off? The words in your native tongue take on an oddly foreign tone. You become unsure of the spelling of words you would not usually think twice about writing out. I had to look up stranded and suppression today.
I think I'll try to keep everything 2 syllables and under.

    What causes this?

I think I can relate to this when I just get out of bed, especially if I'm flung into social situations and stimulation soon after I get up.

But in the more general sense, I do often forget the spelling of words and even meanings when I normally wouldn't think twice about the spelling & meaning.

I've been up 4 hours. I really have no excuse. Especially since I already had the double latte.

Sure. Haven't we all been there?
You can't spell "justice" without ISTJ.

I now have full license to be a nincompoop all day.

Is that how you spell 'nincompoop'? I've never actually seen it in type before.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

You sure you're not just saying that to play with my neurosis of the day?
