I cannot advance the Sunbeam Tiger as an all-out badass muscle car. However, I would dearly love to own one.

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
    -What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
    -Yes, my dear.

Thank you for the help so far!

The butt ends tend to wanna slide away in turns too even at low speeds (bricks in the trunk might help). Which engine will it run?

Did 120 mph in it during a drag race. Don't recommend that!
Nahh..there's something fishy with my account on INTPc.. I've never dropped my shiznit there before. You remember me from here: http://www.typologycentral.com/forums/70322-post39.html 'n http://www.typologycentral.com/forums/70338-post41.html.

My personal favorite of classic muscle would be the 1970 Dodge Challenger, and of "new" muscle would be the 2008 Dodge Challenger. Not a fan of the Mustang, and 4-door sports car = fail. (New Charger).

Of course....I still like my current car better than all of these, 90-96 Nissan 300zx, especially after I get the money for some new paint.
Yah, the maintenance is a problem. I'm too busy with other stuff. I'ma check out some Dodgallengers though..

Now that's some good stuff right there. I wonder how many HP the winner had?

I mean I still stick with the Dax as it's modelled on the "killer" car the AC Cobra but no doubt it's American muscle you're after not straight out "OMG I think I need to change clothes now" muscle.
I have to admit, I'm partial to style, though pure eye candy is too shallow for me. It needs more substance under the hood.

Subject to those definitions I'll still support my earlier suggestion but I have another to make alongside those...

TVR Tuscan Speed 12. It corners, it's absolutely fragging fast, beautiful and sounds like you just swapped a bunch of dinosaurs hemeroid cream with deep heat.

    Good enough?
This car seems to have everything I'm looking for, except for outward physical bad ass beauty (which is in the eyes of THIS beholder). I prefer cars that look like the old camaro, or the new mustang I posted earlier.

Awright, it's time to ante up the specifications:
    ****************************************

    - Definitely american, which means NO BMW, WV, Volvo. Mclaren and Aston Martin possible exceptions.
    - Cannot be older than, or have designs resembling earlier than '65.
    - Camaro and Dodge only options if they are old models.
    - No cab, por favor.
    - If it is new (-07 and younger), then I prefer a physical appearance that resembles the ford mustang boss.
    - High acceleration is a must, but also a high top speed.
    - Black colour and or some combination of orange strongly preferred.

    Previous specifications:

    - Horsepower, the more horses, the more yeehaaw!
    - Solid engineering behind the construction.
    - Bad ass design, Outside/Inside.
    - Acceleration.
    - Durability.
    - Sound of the engine (uh huh!): I prefer the sound of the camaro/impala here.
    - Additional pimpability.

So no VXR8? I know it's not american but compared to a Mclaren or an Aston Martin puhleease! This thing has way more snarl!

If you're going to spend a fortune though, why not get a custom?

    Just found this,

Probably not american, not plush, but let's face it.. why just do up an already decent car. Besides out of all the motors I've seen there's very little variation in the whole dual headlamp + large grill department, except the Charger but I've no doubt you've already thought about and rejected that one. I figure that this one is just that little bit different.
