    It is kinda funny.

I'm not all that curvy but apparently the parts of me he found interesting were right at nose level. Geez.

I used to light a cigarette and hold it behind my back when I entered their house. It's just no fun spending an afternoon getting goosed by a dog nose!

Actually that was only one of the reasons I quit spending time with her.

The other was more serious from my perspective. Perhaps too much so for a light-hearted conversation.

She had been given the responsibility for watching after her niece during the girl's freshman year at college in our town. And the girl got pregnant.

She was so worried that her sister would be angry with her that she took the girl to St. Paul and paid for an abortion. Paid the girl to never tell her mother.

Man. I just couldn't handle that.

Oh Lady Pinkington -- outties need love too!

    So do lefties.

    And redheads.

    ----------------------
Other than not being attracted to someone or not having chemistry, I've never turned someone down or 'broken up' with them over something 'trivial'.

In fact, one of my hard and fast rules is to date people who are bigger than me -- taller and sturdier. I've written elsewhere on the board but they need to be able to throw me over their shoulder and carry me out of a burning building. They can be slender, but they have to be able to bench press more than me.

Buuuuut -- I've actually broken my own rule more than a few times. And even thought, "Wow, you're a lot shorter/lighter than me -- and I don't care 'cause you are just that hot " LOL

Um...did I already mention that I'm not superficial? Hahahaha.

BTW, one guy I dated was around 6 feet and 120 pounds (not kidding, I told this to other guys and their response was, "Sick!" LOL, so superficial) and actually most girls I've dated or been attracted to are at least 3 inches shorter than me...

Then again, size is a state of mind -- I think that's what I'm attracted to as much and in some ways more, than the physicality of a tall, well-buit person.

I know that's so deep. I feel I have fully redeemed myself and absolved myself of any 'superficial' rumors. Thanks.

Oh wait, sometimes I've found people interesting and started talking to them but halitosis (theirs, at least, I don't think I had it) got in the way. Just could not continue talking to them. Does that count?

yep! the 'greatness' of Evanescence... could very well be the next iconic oxymoron!
