I was looking up type info and stumbled onto this site. I kinda lurked for about 2-3 years until I really just wanted to pin down my type and finally joined, why I stay is a mystery...

Of course it is happening inside your head, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?

From 2008-2011 I was on the INFJ forums (I found that after explicitly searching for an INFJ forum). I quit there the day I graduated college and didn't look back. Years later I was rather depressed and checked it out in secret. It was so dead and a shell of its former self. Realizing that I had mistyped myself months prior to this, and realizing I missed forums, I came here (I had long known of typology central). I didn't intend to stay more than a few months once I sorted my type. Right before I was about to leave I got to know some awesome people, and decided to stay longer. Eventually I found a bunch of utility to this place, and felt strongly on how the community should be, I stayed indefinitely. As of this month I have now been on TypoC longer than I was on the INFJforums, which is weird to think about.

I was in severe midlife crisis last year.

I first took the MBTI 20+ years ago, but ignored it, psychology, and everything remotely similar.

A friend suggested typology last Spring and and as part of my awakening I discovered TypC (I had been to PerC amd 16types before coming here).

I much preferred the atmosphere here and enjoy the people, though I am saddened with departures and hate looking at my friends list and seeing poster that haven't been here in months.

I came because Haight asked me to help him start an all-types community. I stay for the same reason- too much invested at this point to leave. I feel like I need to see it through.

Boredom and just random interneting- came upon the site and thought meh- Ill register for this like I do so many other things, generally leaving and forgetting about them soon after logging off that first time.

But I dunno- guess I just... This community- I liked the community. I liked the people. I felt engaged- there was so much to jump into. And the further I dove the more I wanted to dive- and that was that.
