I'm gonna make a new rule for all the NT's here: see if you can get through a week day hour without editing a single post after publishing.
Yeah, that'll happen right after Palin changes her stance to pro-choice.

Totally. I even edited that very post. And the two I made after it.
It's totally compulsive!! What's wrong with me??? Why can't I just read everything and think what I'm going to say BEFORE posting??!!! Jesus, it's not like I'm on a time limit here or anything!!

    (there will be blood)
I'd never make a post if I couldn't edit it later. *sees some mods scurrying to remove my edit privileges*
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

I'm not an NT and I could not do that. I'm too careless and too post with a flow on here, to ever not be able to edit. That would be torture, I'm often remembering stuff after I've posted. You are a sadist and a masochist.
    In no likes experiment.

I just thought it'd be interesting to see what I might realize or see differently if I can just go for a while without doing it. See what coping mechanisms I develop to replace the compulsive editing. I'm gonna see how long I can go without editing a post.

well as long as I don't have to. Good luck. Can I start a poll on how long people think you will last?

Sure. Can I get my editing fix with profile visitor messages or do they count as well?

I think those still count, as they are techinically on here.
