Nonsense! We humans secretly enjoy getting railed, it gives us an opportunity to see how foolish others can be, and gives us the chance to rail back.

It's a practice as old as time itself.

I'm just keeping the tradition alive.

Seriously though, I did try ignoring them up to a point, then I they became frequent enough that I felt like maybe I should see what this is about, after a certain point, they seemed less about anything real or true, and more about "This type is better then this type, and this type is corrupted because, blah blah lah, you suck, I rock. Inferiority complex mumbo jumbo"

I eventually got to the point where I started getting pissed off, and that almost never happens. Once it does however I usually do something about it, I have yet to figure out how to stop that train. So here we are.

And as you've must've noticed I'm not alone.

    Potato salad.

Not really though. It doesn't have any green leafy stuff in it.

I was thinking the same thing about all the threads about ENTP's. Like, way to refute the idea of us being narcissistic! Though, in defence of my type, I think most of those threads were not started by ENTP's...

Yeah the threads in the OP made me groan when I saw the titles. I never even click on those kinds.

Lmfao, I only did not click on them much because by the time I got here, it was like 1500 posts into it, and my tiny enfp brain can't handle it. I do agree with the jeffster though...

the sad thing this happens every once in awhile, I mean this isn't the first time. I wish people would shut up already. Do you really need to put other types down to build yourself up? pitiful. just pitiful. *shakes head*

You know what? I think it's a bit hypocritical to abide by the MBTI and infer a variety of things using it as a model, and then not see how certain types can be better in some ways then other types.

To me, the minute we start discussing MBTI in detail, is the minute we must leave our egos and feelings out of the equation. I don't care if there are people who say other types are more intelligent than my own, because maybe, statistically speaking it is true.

Are we not prone to assuming an accomplished scientist is more intelligent than the musician who composed the last album we bought, for example? Intelligence isn't just an abstract concept, there are cultural connotations (i.e. maths and physics being the areas of expertise of "smart people" as opposed to art, etc etc). So, from that point of view, I have no problem accepting these comments, even if I don't agree with them most of the time.
