Default So I'm browsing MBTIc today..

When my ESFJ grandmother happens to stop by and catch a glimpse of the screen.

One thing that has to be understood first is that my grandmother thinks everything on the Internet... is porn, everything, bar none - the Internet is the definition of porn as far as she is concerned. If she catches me on the Internet, it will usually elicit some comment such as "Why are you looking at dirty things on the Internet" normally while browsing a site like this, but she makes no distinction. She caught a glimpse of Colema's avatar and asked me why I was looking at pictures of young little girls.

Today, she finally decided to ask me what I was actually looking at, to which I replied generically "A psychology site". It appears in her mind that viewing psychology sites is tantamount to murder, as she then went on a 10 minute rant and rave about "Not looking at dark things, psychology will just send you crazy" and "It's best to just go through life without thinking, don't think, live".

I quietly sat there chuckling to myself, but what a strange race humans are. Henceforth, I shall start my new, no thinking life; I will stop looking in 'dark' places such as MBTIc. I've been warned, and so have all you.

How about that? Up until yesterday, I also had an ESFJ grandmother that was ignorant of the internet and didn't want people looking at dark things.
    Go to sleep, iguana.

I'm sharing - my exit thread will be much more dramatic.

In a sense... but not one I agree with. Thinking and 'living' are not mutually exclusive.

My grandmother was the best. Everyone was a "bastard" or "sonofabitch" in her book. Depending on voice inflection, it was either a compliment of the highest order or the dirtiest of insults.

now just think about all the cool things our grandchildren will have when we're oldtimers that will make us go "WTF :steam:"

almost makes one excited to get older.

    No, no it doesn't.
