Lol. ok. That almost makes the thread title make sense.

I'd like to register my disdain for another intrinsically negative thread.

People are different and will identify with different people. This just sounds like a smoke-screen to be nasty.

If I've got the wrong impression, that's fine, but ensure there's an apology for such ambiguity.

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
    -What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
    -Yes, my dear.

It's more of a stage and less of a smoke-screen.

So you want someone nice, and you claim to dislike hostility and cruelty, and yet you say things like this...?

*preamble: I kinda dig bluewing sometimes*
I found her comment neither hostile or cruel. Disliking hostility or cruelty does not mean you lose all faculties of observation and criticism. BlueWing takes a lot of heat around these parts, and does little or nothing to endear himself to anyone, though he does much that enrages a large segment of the poster population. Such a persona is not usually well-liked. So it is plausible that someone is surprised by his being liked without meaning to suggest that he is so positively repulsive that no one could be expected to like him.

I wouldn't want to be so insulting as to know you better than you know yourself.

Perhaps the people that haven't a clue about Night also don't take that moment's pause to actually pay attention to what they're reading and think.

I find BlueWing likable on many levels, actually.
Except when he posts things. (LONG things.)

But he's actually got a good sense of humor, if you know how to read him.

BlueWing is the only person who I really genuinely like a whole lot but have never read a post of.
