It's good in very small doses.

I am generally a creature of routine and planning ahead. It's most comfortable.

Inferior Te says plan ahead and avoid danger and pain and then if plans fall through don't pitch a fit, try and adapt. But nobody else better try and make me conform to some plan.

I hate it. If my routine is broken, I become furious. And I absolutely despise surprises.

I also need to be in control. Seeing how I am limited in terms of social contacts, the only thing I can control effectively is a computer.

And even when I'm around people, I always end up waiting for them. Last year I went to Cedar Point with my cousin, and I was telling them the best strategy to approach in terms of riding the rides -- start at the back of the park or start at the newest major attraction and work from there. It was just frustrating because they didn't listen to me right away. This is why I prefer to do things alone -- people will just not do what I tell them; they are more an annoyance than anything.

Also, when I was working, if my work routine was interrupted, I got extremely aggravated.

I really don't like it, but depending on what it is, I can deal with it. The level of spontaneity I can deal with in something is related to how important it is to me. I can't deal with it in things that matter, but I can in things that I don't think are that big a deal or worth worrying about.

I run out of energy easily, so I get really impatient when people drag me around town with them when we'd decided to only go one place.

My ESTJ best friend and I have had about 25 million "fights" (after 20 years, its hard for me to truly get mad at her) about this.

Her: Hey Dana I'm coming over, we're going to Y Destination.
    Me: Cool.
*we go to X, Y, and Z Destinations*
Her: Oh wait, let's go to V & W as well, it will take like 5 seconds
*3 hours later, I am about to strangle her if she does not drop me off*

    Lol.

Yeah, I cannot tolerate spontaneity when it significantly diminishes my supply of energy. If it's something I'm extremely psyched about, however, I will do it without a minute's hesitation. That spontaneity is usually reserved for people I'm interested in romantically or for fun short little activities with friends or family that were my idea.
