Are those two things really that controversial?

I mean, sounds like there is some decent observation of them -- disposable tech, and a visible proof of natural selection processes on the bacterial level.

You wouldn't think so, but surprisingly I've gotten a lot of crap from people who think it's just a myth. Mostly from brainwashed Apple fanboys.

This isn't really a belief, but I have deep dislike for Paul McCartney. I tend to blame anything crappy that happened with The Beatles on him. I think Let It Be is overrated, and I think he just screws up Hey Jude when he scats at the end, or whatever it is he's doing.

Only because Paul McCartney was just holding them back. They could've really been great.

All of their songs were vapid, overly idealistic, and dull. They sounded like they needed to be locked up in straight jackets instead of being forced upon the public

I actually love the Beatles, but I admit a lot of their early music was annoyingly repetitive and formulaic. "She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah"? Not exactly inspired lyrics.

But I love the "Rubber Soul", "Revolver", and "Sgt. Pepper" albums.

As in: they never happened? That is more bizarre than controversial.
