Just because Bob Dylan was influenced by Woody Guthrie, it does not mean that Woody Guthrie was more influential than Bob Dylan.

Yeah, and all the skiffle groups in 1950's England were more influential than The Beatles.

Animal testing is extremely important to the development of the human condition and more should be done. At the end of the day humans are 1000 times more important than animals. We have the power over the earth, and though one may argue that we ourselves cannot judge ourselves as superior, it doesnt look like any other earth species comes close to even being able to contradict our assumed superiority.

Gym class should not be necessary after elementary school if even that. Recess should be lengthened.

    Skirts and dresses suck.

Schools should let give students the outlines to set their own cirriculum and let them decide how much time to spend on a subject. Teach them the basics, and check on them often to make sure that they are not falling behind basic knowledge and skills dramatically, but give them as much feasible space as possible to learn what they want to learn. Assist the more dependant learners, but promote independant discovery.

If children are forced to get vaccinnated before going to school, people should also have to put their names on the organ donor registry before getting a lisence. Maybe people would be more careful on the roads if they were more frequently reminded that there is a person who would 'die' to get their organs, and that at the end of the day they could end up being just a means to an end for another person. We have the technology to do organ dnoations, why would we bury things that could save someones life. Choice is one thing, but it seems that if government promoted organ donation like they promoted stopping smoking then more people might grow more comfortable with the idea. Religious exemptions aside for this.

I think that maybe, just maybe, astrology might be correct about some things.

I believe that no one is "equal", and that the only reason we say that we are is because it's politically correct, and us not being equal implies things that most people don't want to think about, despite its veracity.
I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.

This is the most hippie post in this entire thread. Almost all the rest sounds right wing.
