    Default Tarot Readings

I thought it would be fun to offer tarot readings to the good denizens of TypoC. I'm pretty experience with cards and intuitive readings besides.

If you're interested in having me read for you, you can either post a question or ask for a general reading. Questions don't have to be too detailed because I don't really want any outside information to cloud the read. I also don't answer questions about health, because I'm not a doctor.

    Any takers?
And so long as you haven’t experienced this: to die and so to grow,
you are only a troubled guest on the dark earth

What do you mean? Are you predicting futures? How will I do on my stats exam?

I'll bite. What kind of question or starting information do you need?
I've been called a criminal, a terrorist, and a threat to the known universe. But everything you were told is a lie. The truth is, they've taken our freedom, our home, and our future. The time has come for all humanity to take a stand...

Not necessarily. I don't like to say I'm predicting necessarily so much as presenting another way to consider certain ideas.

How will I do on my stats exam?
    Card: Strength (Reversed)

Basically what I'm getting is that while you're more than capable of performing well on the exam, you don't always apply yourself as you should. You're a bit intimidated by the subject and use it as an excuse to escape to things which are easier to deal with.

How will you do on your stats exam? Well...how much did you study for it?

Like I said, just state the basic question, or if you'd prefer a general read, then I can do that instead. You don't need to get into too much background and you don't need to add anything additional about yourself. If you have a question about someone else, then their name might be helpful, but is not strictly necessary. So, an example would be, "How does Jim Bob feel about me?" or "How will applying for xyz position impact my career?". That sort of thing. It's pretty open and I'll do different spreads depending on what seems appropriate.

I would just like a general read at this time, please.

“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

Will I ever be happy with intimacy?
'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

Suppose a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?"
"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.
    Piglet was comforted by this.

This thing that's been bothering me...When will I be able to accept it and stop feeling bad about it? Are we talking months, years...?

Throw me a 5-card spread, baby. Tell me if the tower card comes up.
