Yeah, that. Plus a lot of stuff. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food. I don't understand how people eat octopus. It still has suckers! They still suck!

I had decent little squid tentacles before (i'm not sure if you'd refer to them as calimari or not, they weren't breaded). It was done right and edible; normally they are rubbery and gross. But I wouldn't call myself adventurous either, I don't think I even had Sushi until my 40's... and that's not even something to call adventurous.

EDIT: Oh yeah, there were some things in the openings of Hannibal (the TV show) that I'm not sure I'd be willing to try.

Plus they're cute and smart, and it would be like eating a squishy puppy. (For me, anyway. I can't eat them, because I love them.)

If I was in a survival situation and I was starving, I'd eat pretty much anything. You do what you have to do to stay alive. BUT, in a normal setting, there are a few things I wouldn't care to try. Sheep eyeballs, for one. I just don't know if I could do it without triggering the ol' gag reflex. Same with partially-formed bird embryos, or fruit bat soup. (It's a thing. For real.) Or anything while it was still alive. That's just... not right, or necessary.

Weirdly enough, I'd be okay with eating most insects. I've had fried locusts. They weren't bad.

    to pretty much all that.

Insects? I can't do it. I even had trouble watching Daryl eat worms on TWD this past week.

If it isn't immediately harmful I'll probably eat it.

Speaking of balut, my sister lives in Philippines and I want to try it if I ever go there.

Uhm.. Peas. I know they seem awesome, but I hate just normal old fashioned peas. I don't enjoy the flavor. I'll still demolish them if they're served at a friend's house, or cooked into things, but I never ate chicken pot pies and mixed veggies growing up because they featured peas.

I'm cool with trying almost anything once.
