    Talking to my son.
    Making myself a nice dinner.
    Watching movies.
    Surfing the 'net.
    Doing laundry.
Listening to my neighbors have sex.

    (you know, all the usual.)

Made a nice Valentine's fancy breakfast with my niece for my dad, nephew and us - dessert crepes, hot chocolate, chocolate and strawberries, got my hair dyed at home, straightening up the world (we just put in new flooring so there's lots to sort through before putting it back), will surprise my niece later at work with something pleasant to mark the day, getting ready for a quick little trip to Edmonton tomorrow, will watch some kind of good movie tonight. I've been more low key this year. Usually I make up little Valentine's bags for my aunty and cousin, my mum and my niece. Pretty fine day today, despite a storm blowing outside.

Coincidentally, several of the people I know who are in relationships are having problems right now. I'm going to hope that the holiday goes better for them, but if it doesn't, they know they can talk to me.

I'll be good to myself by keeping up my routine as usual.

Celebrating not having to run around like a slave dog hound sniffing out chocolates and serving a dark empress of the night.

Me too, I had forgot the day it was actually, and I always like to mark Valentines whether I am single or not. I had planned to met someone for coffee whose partner was working and so had no other plans but they decided on a family commitment instead in the end.

I spent the day hanging out in the coffee shop and reading for the most part, went of a long drive as despite it being cold it was not a bad day.

This morning I got up and went out to take some pictures while the light was favorable. When I arrived at my destination the thing that I wanted to shoot was gone, which is funny because it was there last night. I guess Union Pacific just likes screwing with me. So I came back home and checked my email. My best friend sent me a message informing me that we will not be attending the concert tomorrow night because something else came up.

Maybe I should just go back to bed before anything else bad happens.
