You busted me on my additional motivation for not naming those names: I don't want anyone contacting them and directing them here. Yep, I'm that paranoid.

    I brush with greatness.

My ESFJ friend Ace hit Alan Shepard in the head with the bathroom door at the planetarium. A few days later, Alan Shepard died! Look what you did, Ace!

Camper Van Beethoven? I think if you have music in a Michael Moore movie, people have hurt of you. "Take the Skinheads Bowling" was a radio hit in the '80s, too.

College radio maybe. I'm just sayin', you name them and nobody cares or you don't and pure_mercury has a hissyfit. I know which one I'd pick.

Actually, I just realized this-- when I said that nobody had heard of mine, I was mainly referring to my friend's dad, who I thought I had revealed in this thread but I actually did it in the other one over on INTPC. Nobody had heard of him there, as far as I know, and I seriously doubt anybody here has, either, except those with whom I have already had this conversation.

There is nothing wrong with having a hissy fit when everyone is cock teasing. Besides, David Lowery got pretty famous in the '90s.

Your friend's dad is Eugene Chadbourne? That's pretty cool. I have some of his stuff on my Zune.

Cracker had one mainstream radio hit but I don't think CVB ever did. And it wasn't even their version of the song that was in the Moore film, right?
