If you have a good CD collection sell anything you don't need anymore on eBay.

Or if you have some basic skill join a Temp agency.

Interest rates are up! Since you've lost a bit of time to the weekend, deposit $500,000 in an interest-bearing account that returns 3.75-4% and make $500 in interest.

You could also play mutual funds or the stock market, but you're not in a position to gamble.

What do you need the money for? Why can't you get a loan? If you can't get a loan, get a friend to take out a loan for you and offer him good interest... then push him off a cliff when he gives you the money

you (everyone) should learn to play poker!

hell, i made over a grand off unsuspecting tourists just in the last 5 days. and it's fun, to boot!

you can get your feet wet for free by playing online, follow it up with a bit of low-limit playing and refine your skills with reading and by watching better players.

So did you make it already?

You could sell unused furniture and other such things in a garage sale.

it takes longer than you need, but egg donation pays well. you know, for future reference, and assuming you're female.
just throw it against the wall and see what sticks.
