Default Help an ESFJ in Doubt

    Hello everyone,

I have been doing some soul-searching and I am beginning to suspect that I might not be an ESFJ. The indecision is very difficult for an ESFJ like me to cope with, and I am hoping that someone here might be able to tell me what to think. The ESFJ profile no longer seems to fit so comfortably, and on at least one or two points I seem nothing like an ESFJ. And so here I am, humbly asking for your help to solve my crisis, to help put me back into a box before I begin to think outside of it.

    Thank you,
    Lee
A criticism that can be brought against everything ought not to be brought against anything.

I don't know you at all and haven't seen many of your posts yet so wouldn't know.

But I just wanted to say that I cannot relate to most of the INFJ profiles, but people seem to think I am one, and I concede it makes the most sense. :-) Don't put too much weight on ANY of the profile descriptions. So if that's any consolation at all....

I'm no expert (duh) but reading your posts, I would guess ISTJ. But that's just one of those gut feeling guesses, I've never met you in person or even chatted with you one-on-one, so it's really hard to make an educated guess. You should instant message me sometime or come in the Ventrilo chat and talk to us and maybe we can get to know you better. Of course, I know there are people on here who have met you in person, so they're probly gonna be better to ask anyway. I wish you the best in your "soul-searching" though.

I read one or two of your posts and said "Is this guy an INTP who thinks he's funny?" Alas, right again.

You mistake me for someone else. Someone imperceptive.

Eh. . . it seem that in the post before - above, in this case -that you weren't being sarcastic.

Either way, you could claim to be now, even though you obviously were not. So. . . whatever. Just trying to help you out.

I don't understand. Are you seeing things that aren't there?

No, I wasn't being sarcastic. It didn't take long to realize he was no ESFJ, and once he said "Best Regards, Lee," everything was perfectly clear. Maybe I just misunderstood your post. I thought you were just stating the obvious, but perhaps it was supposed to read like "Well, it IIIISSS Lee we're talkin about here! He's such a crackup!"
