I've been with all three before.. (natural chest hair, naturally hairless, and shaves by choice) and I really don't notice a difference. I appreciate both really. Naturally hairless and fresh shaven can be really pleasant (no worries of hairs tickling, or shedding off on you if you're both sweaty, don't smell bad as quickly, etc.) and chest hair has obvious advantages (feels great in your fingers, it's warm, it looks good) and I really can't say I have a preference between the two.

Shaving the body IS a pain in the dick. It just sucks. But there's reasons to do it that are practical. Body hair can get caught on things and be yanked out (band-aids anyone?) and that sucks. It can make you hotter faster, or be a turn-off if you're overly hairy and uncomfortably sweaty a lot as a result. Body hair tends to quickly accumulate odor, so if you're sweaty body hair is going to smell before the rest of you does. It can also slow you down or distract if you're a swimmer or body builder. It sheds everywhere too just like any hair.

I can't say I know many girls that make their dudes shave their chests, but I'm sure it happens. I don't see it any different from dudes expect clean shaven legs and underarms from girls.

Actually though if he has darker skin and no chest hair that is nice too.

I've never been with a guy that shaved their chest hair but I've been with guys that ranged from downright furry/taco meat (haha--thank you, Mr. P! ) to naturally hairless. It's okay either way but kinda prefer hair over hairless.

Now those fur patches on the back...

A nice chest is a nice chest, but some come with bonuses (like a forest *rawr*)

I wax my legs and pits. It's great. I hate body hair on myself, so I try to get rid of as much as possible. I shave my happy trail and chest hair too, as well as some other areas hehe. I shave when I don't have time to wax obviously, but I've come to prefer waxing because of how it becomes easier to manage over time. I like to be almost completely hairless.

#1 positive feedback I get from guys is how soft my skin is. I don't want any body hair screwing that up!

I don't really care how a guy handles his body hair. I like a well-groomed dick though. It gets pretty nasty if they don't even trim it. All of the guys I've been with have had a pretty good balance of hair/no hair (for example, hairy legs but no hairy chest). I gotta say though that I enjoy kissing a guy more if he has a bit of scruff.
