I have never seen someone get mad because of a question or well wishing or a happy tune. unless they were already mad and that just pushed them over. It's like when I'm in a bad mood I can't be around people being jovial, because then it just puts me in a worse mood

I can understand that, but whose fault is it then, if anyone's?

Very difficult to determine another's motivation. It's partly why we changed the rules last fall.

but by poking with a stick i don't mean someone whistling a tune or anything you listed. the stick poking is intentional to get a rise, someone laughing or asking a question might annoy someone and cause the same reaction and the person still gets in trouble. what i'm referring to is more sinister. and the person with stick is trying to evoke that reaction. which is the problem because the stick poker can claim the oh i was just ________ when they know they weren't.
