Default The Best Place To Live

The OECD (Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development), consisting of all the industrialised countries in the world, said yesterday that Canberra was the best place to live in the world.

And if this was not enough, the New York Times chimed in and published an article also saying that Canberra is the best place to live in the world.

But to balance this, the Weasels and Stoats keep saying that Canberra is a good sheep paddock wasted, and Canberra is a city without a soul.

So you must make up your own minds. Do you believe the OECD and the New York Times, or do you believe the Weasels and the Stoats?

Maybe objectively. But just because something is objectively best, does not me it will be best for everyone. I can say with high certainty I would not be happy living in Canberra or Australia period at all for a multitude of reasons. Most of what I suspect my ideal places to live would be in Montana, Alaska, British Columbia, and several countries in Europe for varying reasons. It's difficult to say which.

The only person who could make Canberra a better place to live would be Hard.
