    Default I'm right-handed but........

I'm right-handed but I always open bottles and carry cups of tea on a plate with my left hand.
If I carry a full cup of tea in my right hand, I tend to spill it.

When I used to play soccer as kid, I had a good left foot kick, while my right foot was always clumsy and uncoordinated, and I could never make a good aim with it.

I write with right hand, always have, I'm not a natural lefty who was pressured to write with left hand. I also type on my phone with right hand.
So I naturally write with my right, but my left hand seems to have better balance and coordination.

Also my left hand is a lot more precise than the right one when I apply make up.

    Can someone explain this?
Does it mean that my brain dominance is balanced, or am I just a special snowflake?

it just means that if you ever lose your right hand you'll have an easier time adjusting. so basically if we're in a situation and one of us must lose our right hand I'm volunteering you cuz you'll adjust easier.

    Right-handed all the way, here.

My left hand is almost vestigial. So I absolutely cannot lose my right hand. Get someone else to lose theirs.

I write with my right hand, but, for some reason, I naturally hold the pen like a left-handed person does. Holding it like a right-handed person does is very awkward for me.

I've heard things now and again about how developing, say, left-handed skills does other stuff with your brain. Anyone have any insight on that?

Haha, no prob. I think it's pretty common, actually. Perhaps some people may not realize their handedness lies within a cross-dominant spectrum, so it goes underreported, but I'm just guessing.
