I've got my mic hooked up but the technical part of installing has me stymied. . .

But I would participate and think it sounds like fun.

(I'd especially like to listen to Jeffster talk smart! Yes, I would. I think he'd crack me up.)

Which parts are you having problems with?

Jeff on vent is very entertaining. So is Morgan, his son.

See? There he did it already!

I had a sneaking suspicion he'd be fun to talk to.

I'm having trouble with the part where they ask for registration material. I put the user name in and then they want sumpin else that I don't know what it is and can't remember! Honest to gawd. This stuff is just hopeless for me. I try to get help from others on the computer but because my knowledge is at a kindergarten level I sometimes don't even have the terminology to say what is wrong.

I'll probably have to call my techie.

you should need to enter in very little information.

This is a tutorial someone else made that may be able to walk you through it:
    http://www.typefrag.com/support/vent...ls/connecting/

The only difference should be that you don't need to enter in a password. The tutorial is for windows users but it shouldn't be too different from OSX if you own a Mac.

Crap, I got all excited because that 0 on the top of the screen looks like an 8.

All right. This helps. What do I put in for my server? I use MSN. Do I need a URL and if so do I take it off the home page?

Do I need a URL for this site?

Another question. The techie put in the family name as a default and I'd prefer to use Anja. How do I go about changing this?
