[Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11

Was he 19 or 20? Being that age can do that. You start to realize the way you conceived the world previously was nothing but an elaborate system of lies. At least, that was how I felt at that age, and damn, was I angry. The early 20s can be like that for some people, a constant sensation of "why was everyone lying to me the whole time."? Of course, closer examination reveals that the line between your own lies, and those of other people, is a thin one.

It also happens to be the age for more severe mental disorders to manifest. Possibly, it is related, in my bullshit speculative opinion.

So I think there might be two things going on.... he was at a difficult age for an introverted type (after high school is supposed to be the best time of your life, blah blah blah), and he might have had something that started to manifest, something deeper than just anger.

I knew a guy once who I befriended, and he would post stuff on his Facebook wall. He was kind of a hippy, so at first I thought it was just avant-garde poetry or something. But then I asked him questions about what it meant, and the answers would all be in the same style. I never saw him not post anything like that.

No... I am not a doctor, and I loathe armchair psychiatry, but I think he was a schizophrenic. It's common for nasty stuff like to manifest in the early 20s.

I'm speculating. I wonder if that age contributes to those things because of the additional psychological stresses present at that age.
