Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Accept that life isn't always fair (I'm still trying to come to terms with that one)

    1. Do not buy any pet food from China.
    2. Do not argue with ISTJs; that seldom ends well.
    3. Eat plenty of potassium and cut down on the sodium; 90% of strokes in the US can be eliminated by eating more potassium.
    4. Have a bowel movement each morning; that way, you avoid having to use those disgusting public toilets.
    5. Get a pre-nup before getting married.

That hasn't been my experience. Maybe not for the ISTJ. An INTP can out-argue an ISTJ blindfolded.

    1. Enjoy the ebb and flow of the seasons.
    2. Laugh. You'll be worm food in a century. What's funnier than that?
    3. Eat lots of green leafy vegetables. You'll feel better.
    4. Eat fatty meat, because it tastes good.
    5. Show gratitude to your dad. Dads don't get enough appreciation.
[Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11

This is great advice; since the 70s, Americans have reduced their meat consumption by around 20% and increased their carb consumption by 11%. That's why so many Americans are overweight.

    1) People don't think the same, assumption that they do causes all sorts of problems.

    2) Intelligence is fine, kindness is better.

    3) Allow others to love you.

    4) Laugh often and joke oftener.

    5) Fear and anxiety are to be overcome.

    And most importantly:

Work out for yourself what advice is worth following.
'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

Suppose a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?"
"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.
    Piglet was comforted by this.
    - A.A. Milne.

    1) Figure out what works for you. It might not be what works for others. We're all different.

    2) Trust is everything. (Including with yourself.)

Well I think that pretty much covers it. I may be back with more.
