    Oops. Yeah.

Cool I didn't know that was put there for us.

There has been an awful delay when using the voice chat.
I will be finished a sentence, and then I will hear myself saying it.
It might be two whole seconds or more.
Can anything be tweaked to fix that?

That would be a Ping/Latency issue. As for the cause.

It could be a bandwith issue, where you might have a slower net connection and/or other programs/people fighting for the bandwith you have available. The singing channel is set to a higher sound quality so it's more bandwith intensive then the main lobby is for example.

Another cause is that one of the main routers between you and the vent server is experiencing bandwith issues on it's own so theres a delay you can't do anything about.

Ha! I might be able to actually come join you guys one of these days, because I just went sorting around for my mic and found it!

Hmm. A group chat might not be as interesting as I'm anticipating. I remember a year ago when I used this mic for skype chats with members from INFPg.

INFPs can be a really tough crowd to interact with orally. I remember that typically one or two of the most talkative people tended to dominate the conversation (usually non-INFP types), with many others speaking up only rarely. I wonder if it's anything like that. (When I wanted to get a word in, I tended to have to take over and toss the ball around with only three or four other people while everyone else remained quiet. It was pretty hard having an all-inclusive conversation among more than four or five people!) But my memory may not serve me right.

Edit: Oh yeah! I remember that when a conversation got going, only (at the most) four people tended to follow it and participate at one time, while the rest of the people in the room (housing up to nine or ten people) often remained pretty quiet for long periods of time. Maybe it was an INFP thing. I think I got a good amount of talk-time in usually, but many others probably didn't know how to get a toe into the conversation or were too shy to even try. On the other hand, you can really only have one topic of conversation going on in a room at one time, because otherwise no one can understand what anyone else is saying and you end up talking over people. It's hard to have too many voices going at once, and a small number of people tend to get into a rhythm and perhaps leave little room for others to find a way in.

I'm just musing about what happened among the INFPgc-ers.

Does anyone know how to play music on teamspeak, aside from just sticking a microphone up near a speaker playing the music? (Assuming there is such a way.)

    In Win XP

Change your Sound/Voice Recording to the "Stereo Mix" or "What U Hear" checkbox from "Microphone" or "Line In".

Just keep in mind all sounds from your PC will be sent, including any sounds like Windows error beeps etc.

In an attempt to get more people onto ventrillo at the same time:

    Music Share

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays at 8:30 Eastern U.S. time.

In order to play music off the computer, select "setup" in ventrillo, select something besides "none" in the "mixer" option, and select either "CD player", "Wave out", or "play what you hear", depending on what type of equipment is on the computer, in the "line" option. Other people will probably be able to help you figure this out in ventrillo.
