Learned a trick the other day, if you have tight-fitting shoes that you want to expand just a tiny bit. (Not sure if this works on anything except canvas Toms-style shoes and women's flats/heels, because those are all that I've tried this method with.)
    1. Fill two sandwich bags part full with water
    2. Stuff the water-filled part into each shoe so that it fills up the entire toe area, or as much of it as you can
    3. Put shoes in the freezer until the water freezes (with freezing, the water will expand slightly, which will expand the shoes as well)
    4. Take shoes out of freezer and let thaw a bit
    5. Remove sandwich bags from shoes, wipe dry
    6. Wear and enjoy!

@johnnyyukon I use hand sanitizer on my glasses as well! Works pretty amazingly.

I like to keep some windows cracked when it's cool, but even with mesh, I think they're still getting in, even though the place is clean. Although it might be when I grill on the patio. Sneaky fuckers will come in even if the door is open for 10 seconds.

    Will try this.

I don't even know where the fuck them come in from in my apartment. I tried the sugar thing and they just kept coming. I had to spray diluted chlorine everywhere for an hour once to get rid of them.

Do you mean fruit flies? They come from the store. For longer term help, one of these work wonderfully. I keep one with the bananas all year.

Make sure you get any fruit/veg peels or trash out of the house. Also, they may be breeding in your drains or garbage disposal. There are several products for that issue too.
I like to rock n' roll all night and *part* of every day. I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1-3.

I imagine that way is also a lot more comfortable than the Army method!

No, these are the normal sized annoying ass flies.

Though I will remember that if I have that problem again. I use that brand for ants, and good lord, it works like magic.

I usually freeze most of my fruit, or refrigerate it. Use in smoothies.

You are so right. Ant crack, indeed.

I hate 'em. This one was buzzing around and I just couldn't kill it. Finally trapped him in a cup.
