Wait. Why is there an overflow of INTP's and INTJ's? I thought they are uncommon... Or maybe we're just chatty

For a few reasons: Firstly, most of us are from INTPc originally. Secondly, INTP's and INTJ's spend the most time on the internet, are more likely to like technology and be social outcasts than other MBTI types.

Edit for the sake of those who would draw conclusions based on the poll:

    Confirmed misplaced votes include

nocturne - INTP, not ESFJ (!)
    Randomnity - ISTP, not INTP
    ptgatsby - ISTP, not INTP
deep rain - INFJ, not INFP

Let me know if there are others and I'll add them to the list.

Relating to people via computer is probably more of an N thing than an S thing.

Even though INxx types are in the minority, it's possible that those types are the most likely to be interested in understanding people using an MBTI kind of method, and more likely to find communicating with others via the internet satisfying, and more likely to be interested in learning more about human behavior in this fashion.

Though there are some ESxx types and some ISxx types who come here, I think for the most part, the great majority of them have real lives that are more interesting and stimulating to them than typing and reading at a computer.

is there any way in which those of us who are in the wrong categories can change our selections to the correct category?
