Default The most & least likely to be banned MBTI type from forums

Call it curiosity. Call it an obsession. Call it a curious obsession.

After watching misbehaved members banned from the MBTI forums and noticing a certain pattern in behaviors and types, I couldn't help but open a thread on this topic. I would like you to provide any insight or observation you have made so far, ranging from the most diabolical to the most impotent.

    An example:

    Most likely banned: INFP.
Why: They treat us like play things and not real people. Only to fit their ideals.

    Most likely not banned: ISFP
Why: Too fluffy. Need to add more muscle.

Recently there has been a trend of Ti doms (most of them type 6) blowing up and selfdesctructing or becoming overly hostile, earning themselves a ban in the process.

Thinking about it some more, I almost definetely wanna say that type 6 is the e-type most likely to get banned.

There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

It depends on the degree of difference between the person's need and degree for immediate freedom, how much the individual currently naturally aligns with the forum in question, and how much freedom the forum tries to restrict based on its community rules.

Some types are more prone to gaming the system (they can flex and utilize the rules to their advantage), other types need to be in charge and can't handle the imposition, and some types are very happy to exist within the stated boundaries.

There are also types that are less prone to banning because they will choose to immediately go elsewhere, being more proactive. (I can think of at least one long-time ExxJ member who immediately left the forum when the moderation publicly announced they were clamping down a little bit more.)

I don't feel comfortable enough to try to filter types into those categories, but I'd agree that ISFJs seem to pretty traditionally not get banned compared to other types.

“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

Least banned : Can't imagine a 9 ever being banned.
Most banned : Isn't the entire INTernet just a giant collection of INT rants ?

TPs most likely to be banned. (Because sometimes they just can't be assed).
FJs least likely. (Because Fe can be pretty good at gaming rules).
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
