I hate every country song I've heard, except for some written by Johnny Cash.
We're a lukewarm people for all our feast days and hard work.
Not much touches us, but we long to be touched. We lie awake
at night willing the darkness to part and show us a vision. Our
children frighten us in their intimacy, but we make sure they
grow up like us. Lukewarm like us

There are many. Unfortunately most guys that are into classical music (holy shit does Chopin's Nocturne hit the spot) and one's that love Shakespeare, perhaps Charles Dickens etc, are in a significantly small minority compared to those who would rather talk about... Football... Although, I'd rather discuss Nietzsche than Shakespeare XD That's just because I think there's more to talk about, a lot of guys I know that are "cultured" and don't act like an "overgrown child" can be pretty inaccessible to women.. Quite reclusive for the most part...

Another confession: I find sports to be the least entertaining thing to talk about or to watch, out of the things that a "man" is expected to talk about or watch. I don't give a shit about a bunch of guys engaging in glorified mud wrestling.

    I don't wank often. I mean I'm not a wanker, really, I swear.

I like to save myself for working out and using my energy constructively.

But once time, "once time," is an alternative way we say, "once upon a time" here in the shy-sizzle, I was wanking in my room at night with the lights open and I thought the blinds were closed but they were full open. I suddenly rolled off the bed and smashed into the floor as a wave of terror spread across my body.

For a month I left my building with sunglasses and a hat afraid that the people in the complex next store saw me and would recognize me as "le wanker"...as there are about 16 kitchen and bedroom windows right across from me.

Suffice it to say I thought twice about ever wanking again and saw it as a warning from the universe to either make sure the blinds were shut or just wank in the shower.
"i shut the door and in the morning
    it was open
    -the end"

Olemn slammed his hammer and from the sparks on the metal of his anvil came the spheres of the heavens.

Sayrah blew life into the spheres and they moved. From her wheel she weaved the names of people in to mystery.

Every time people around me start talking about sports, it's like hearing the muffled trombone sounds that the adults make on Charlie Brown.

Almost every sport, but especially football and baseball. I cannot comprehend how people can get worked up about them. The ratio of action to inaction in both sports is astonishingly high.
