I don't know how to appropriately have a runny nose/bouts of sneezing while at work or in public. I feel like everyone is disgusted with me but that I wouldn't be justified in staying home.
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.

Dating strangers is a seriously problematic practice. I don't dig it.

No mysteries or seeming contradictions left.

And then... peace. The single desire to end on a good note, use the knowledge and tools at my disposal to effect some positive change. Instead of passively analyzing and being sad. Change that will, hopefully, resonate even when we part our ways.

I'm ... well, already over [him] at this point, but the mess of a situation and 'abnormal' (I hesitate to use this word or to imply a clean-cut line between normality and abnormality, but bear with me here) relationship holds a detached fascination for me. It's like a very, very real case study.. and, on my end, a test of applying the concepts I once learned.

I haven't been on a roll in such a long time. But I think I did good - not in the sense that it furthered my own desires (those are over now), but that it maybe helped him as a person. I think I'll be able to fall asleep tonight.
Hmmmmm, well I hope it sticks. A peaceful ending to any kind of relationship is very rare and seems to require a solid understanding of what Marvin Gaye would call "What's Going On."

I was around 18 years old. A friend of mine proposed me a joint for the 1st time... He invited me the same evening.

I just looked at him first, and was thinking "you'll see into which sort of creature he turns into, then you'll decide what you do".

When he proposed me to smoke, I suddenly felt a small inquiry would not be too much.

To avoid being straight-talking about cannabis -I was a bit stressed- I was thinking a cool conversation may be useful on the moment :

_ Do you go and see Bob Marley Sometimes?

    _ Whaaaat ?

_ BOB MARLEEEY ! Do you sometimes go to his concerts ????

_ He is dead my dear !

NO ? Bob Marley is dead ?

    Innocence musicale...

Reminds me, the first time I smoked weed (16ish?), being clever me, I found my Doors t-shirt, put on a colorful bandana, and brought a large, full bag of Fritos. Cuz stoners get the munchies right? Silly stoners.

Anyway, all my friends said, "oh you're not gonna get high the first time man, it just doesn't like, happen."

I was like, "fuck that," and made sure to inhale really deeply and hold it in about 5 times.

All I could remember next was was laughing at everything, listening to Boby Marley's Jammin' with the mellow djembe drums, the little "dinks" from the claves (the little wood sticks with a lovely little sound), and thinking, "I get it!!!"

Then all I could think about was getting to those Fritos.

Which I did, and ate the entire bag.

I bet listening to Bob and knowing that Marley was still alive made you very hungry
To believe that music only whets smokers' appetite...
