It would be a foolish thing to do, on the other hand being a little foolish gives one the opportunity to recover if things turn out untoward.

And being a little foolish gives us the opportunity to experience something a little different.

And I can hold your hand as you try something different, and you can blame me if things don't go as you would like. And happiness is having someone to blame.

In my experience, these kind of things do not end well. Usually, the one who acquiesces to being foolish - ends up being blamed - by the one who first wished it.

    Do I seem the type

Look, the only person I can control is myself. Blaming someone else does not bring satisfaction. I prefer to examine what I am accountable for. To learn from that.

Mole: because I do not show my deepest feelings easily, does not mean I am hiding behind a guise of cheery agreeableness.

I recognize this wish to provoke me: to anger or badness. Thinking it will reveal: the ‘real’ me.

Here’s the thing: it takes time and a gradual building of trust for me to reveal all facets of myself.

The truth is I AM a very foolish person. I am a scaredy-Cat if I think I will be disappointed or let down. I can be self-absorbed & let stress and fatigue make me act unwisely. I can be too proud to accept help or admit weakness. I need to be more assertive… My faults are too numerous to list.

So, instead of being foolish (which usually leads to regret) I prefer to be playful.

When I am unkind (bad) or thoughtless = there are consequences. Self-reckoning. So, I find greater reward in being considerate and finding connection.

I will never be overly woebegone, my nature has always been more halcyon.

That being said, I am REAL when I am on TypeC. I have been defensive and later apologized, have shared pictures, have expressed indignation, have written about my life…I honestly am not sure what more is expected

When I become aware of any discrepancies between how I perceive myself and what I learn, I post them. I DON’T feel obligated to explode or cry or have outbursts on the forum. I can have mature, thoughtful reactions.

If I AM upset - I will likely do so privately - or with a trusted companion. I am human and do bleed. I don’t need to have it witnessed to make it so.

I will share what I choose. With an open spirit. I can’t control how that is received.

{Sidenote} You have recently explained the reasons behind your own ‘persona’ so I am choosing not to delve deeper into the irony of you addressing me on this topic

There is a tendency to only see the negative in ourselves, myself included, and it unfortunately mars what good we DO bring to the world. Continue to shine brightly Clouds, I'll be there smiling as you continue to spread your compassion towards others.

    Cake for you!

He mentioned something about wanting to cut down tall poppies or something, IIRC.
I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away
