It's weird and hard to explain.)

Once my English teacher pulled me aside to ask me what a certain word I'd unknowingly slipped into my essay meant because she couldn't find it in the dictionary.
I do this unapologetically. Sometimes, while traveling or working, I'll spend hours just recombining words.

When people complain about other people/places/things etc. I tend to be unsure how to respond. Mostly because when I'm doing this, it isn't the person/place/thing ... it's me, it's my own misery. I really don't know though how it is for others. But I think there are thousands upon thousands (I don't actually know if its thousands upon thousands) of ways of looking at the same situation. I admire people who can find a way of looking at a situation with positivity and strive to understand why things are the way they are, to feel empathy for the circumstances that have led to whatever situation.

Positivity develops out of honesty and a willingness to be yourself. At least I think so anyway. I've tried so much of my life to play certain roles, whether it was cold and detached math girl or rebellious and impervious one etc. Really, all attempts to deny what is just so very much me ... I'm really emotional and need people, need relationships. The funny thing is I played these roles, played callous and detached, out of a desire to be loved ... out of fear of being rejected for me. (btw autosave is fricken awesome)

I think I know what that's like. Most of my friends are getting married, having kids, and busy with their careers, so they almost never spend time with me. That's not the case with all of them, mind you. Some of them just moved away.

I don't think I'm that smart. I'm kinda ditzy. But when I try to get all analytical and intense I actually perform worse.

God help me out is a constant battle with laziness. OK going to go clean the fridge.
