i love hearing what people think. but who takes direction from others over whatever they're hearing inside theirself? just seems dumb to me. i've always said, i love advice, but i don't take commands.

You have to trust yourself, ultimately.
Winterman is coming through the forest down to his Chrimbus cave inside the woods. Now's the time to tell him everything you want inside your Chrimbus bush!

Again, sounds just like me and my ENFP friends. I may or may not have said that exact same thing to my ENFP bestie. For the most part I don't even bother giving her advice anymore, unless she asks for it, or unless we're talking about something really egregious.

Yeah, what I look for are options and new perspectives. It's really rare that somebody else both has the same objective that I do within a situation, or the same tolerances as far as an optimal 'solution' goes. Most of the time I'm not exactly looking for a resolution.

Confession: It makes me nervous when people think I might be fun or exciting. I can't say if it's true or not, but I hold very little value on those things.

aw you should still share how you feel. i bet she values it more than you know. for the reason of exactly what qlip said.

Out of curiosity: if you don't want resolution, what do you want?

I can't speak for fiver, but I want a kind of holographic view of the situation, perspectives from many different viewpoints. I want to end up in a place that's completely predictable from an ENFP point of view, a place of maximum potential. Where the possibilities shine the brightest, this isn't always when everything is wrapped up in a neat bow.
