    I enjoy arguing. I have had long arguments with many members here but most if not all of them have been civil.

    Of course if a personal attack is made things always get heaty. However most of these personal attacks are almost always done by a very few members and i steer clear from them. I've been member for over 5 years here, therefore i know who they are and when a new member joins (who becomes a regular and overly aggressive) i can quickly note them and steer clear of them too. It's almost as if i ignore them without putting them on ignore. (Don't quote and don't mention.) When being quoted by them if i realize they are looking for genuine feedback i reply. If they are looking for an argument i will ignore or give a short brief answer.

    Talking about blood lust arguing if type is dragged into the discussion the types that come to my mind are: cp6s (hands down) and sx dom 5w4s.

    But no type has the immense capacity to get offended, aggressive and misread anything (even a simple hello) ad much as a cp6.

    @chana a intj, really?

    She uses fi. Everyone of her posts reek fi and they shockingly lack fe.

    From what i have noticed fi types (esp fi doms) use te to communicate their fi. The stronger the te the better they are at communicating their fi. And they seem to use a justification based approach to do so (this is why i think ...). This maybe why you are confusing her for an intj.

    @Riva

    Yes, I see the Fi, however, it seems like some Te is coupled along with it.

    You enjoy security and I enjoy your poem.

    I like the way you stop yourself in the first stanza.

    And I like your power ending (ka-boom) in the second stanza.

    I basically feel compelled to finish the fights I get into. Can't help it. It's not so much that I like endless online arguing (to me, this is actually MUCH more stressful than face-to-face because it's slow and lets the annoyance/anger/adrenaline/excitement/whatever build up) but that I'm just weirdly compelled to finish my arguments. I'm an ENTP, too, fwiw. (Of course, pleasurable ENTP arguments leave me coming back for more, too. Not all arguments are negative. I'm talking about the odd nasty, nasty ones.)

    The times I've backed off communities has been from gross violation (assholes who steal my username, f'rinstance), or a general disgust with the people around me, or public humiliation. Not so much from the arguing, even if the argument in question makes me want to leave.

    Could be a cover up for not liking confrontation? But that might just be my projection.

There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

    I always need closure. So I avoid being involved in too many threads at the same time. It must remain manageable for my J, otherwise I do abstain from this or any other forum for a while.

    Nope. But I will take breaks if disgusted or bored.
