I like a little coffee in my cream and sugar.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Hee hee! Read as a formal conjunction there's no entailment! So they're just people who don't drink coffee and just happen to be losers as well!

    Hmmm, good point.

But if I wrote it as, "I'm a loser that doesn't drink coffee", that could taken as meaning that there are people who don't drink coffee and aren't losers.

I was going for, "people who don't drink coffee are inherently losers".

Only half kidding about the loser thing.

I like the smell of fresh-brewed coffee but I don't like the taste.

I like it sweet and creamy.

Indeed... actually, I was appreciating the sentence as is for its additional, though perhaps inadvertent, wit.

Suggestion for future polls: "I'm a loser and, hence, don't drink coffee."

The "hence" evokes that ineffable look of "God, I'm so kew for not drinking coffee like the laity." which would amuse a true coffee-drinker.

Thick and black, like I like my women.

I don't really drink "normal" coffee. I like mochas and stuff like that but as for just coffee beans and water, I don't do that much. If I were to drink a cup of coffee, I'd take it with cream and a little sugar substitute like sweet 'n low.

I don't like the choices. Caffeine highs are for losers, and I don't drink coffee. Orange juice is so superior to coffee, it's insulting to orange juice that they're both called beverages. Orange juice needs some special designation for its exalted status.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."
