Default Brits try to label the States in America

    http://www.buzzfeed.com/robinedds/it...el-the-us-stat

So funny. I'm sure most Americans would have an equally difficult time trying to label Canada or Mexico. FYI, that's only one of the maps. There are bunch more examples if you click the link.

Most Americans wouldn't do much better than this. My time living in California has taught me that people here have no concept of the east coast or Midwest.

Yeah, I'm sure. Some of the other ones are pretty funny though. One person made like three Utahs.

I wouldn't have a clue about the counties or whatever they have in the UK. I mean, I could get Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales. That's as far as I'd get.

I wouldn't get all the US states right, either. Especially New England and the square states out west.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

If you live in California/Texas/Florida any geographic knowledge beyond your state's border could probably be considered esoteric.

    There's no point to worldliness.

Ah, I remember reading that article when it first came out online - so cute!

And yeah, sadly most of us Americans wouldn't do much better on this... shame on us.

I'm still shocked that states and countries don't really have the big letters across them or thick black lines at the borders.
