    If you don't have an ego, then we will make one for you.

    Even this post betrays you and shows your ego off. I'm not pointing fingers or being confrontational, but the way you try to shrug it off...it just makes it harder to hide. I think maybe you're only associating negative qualities with the idea of ego.

    My ego is literally like an iceberg, most of it is under the surface (and this is no small iceberg).

    Okay everyone. For those of you who need some clarification on what an ego is.
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    Ever read Alan Watts' The Book? His take on ego is interesting.

    I try to check it at the door. I've submitted it to a higher power- but that is always a work in progress. I don't prefer interacting with people gripped by their egos. It's exhausting.

    I'm usually pretty ego-driven, as opposed to id-driven. Or wait, maybe it's balanced. In certain situations, though, my more primitive responses do become evident.

    RobertCalifornia: shes my homegurl
    Hive: arent you
    SpankyMcfly: wait... you arent?

    The Ego is ruled by the Id.
