    Default Greatest Wish?

Mine is to own a piece of self sustaining property, permaculture. I would grow my own food. As a raw foodist, that's ideal. In turn, it helps the environment as well.

What does everyone else wish for?

Questions like this are too big for me to formulate a satisfying answer.

To be LOLed. I got LOLed tonight and I'm so excited. I reckon it all stems from a need for acceptance. So acceptance'd be a good high on the wish-list wish.

To live the tribal life, and for everyone else to want it too. The Waorani people live with nature and with each other. It is very unusual for them not to be married by their late teens, but by spending so much time with the same people each, it's hard not for them to fall in love.

They are respectful of the land, and will go out of their way to preserve it.

Many live into their late 60s, and when they are not concentrating honing their craft in hunting or weaving, you are sure to find them often happy and contented throughout life.

I do believe it's our culture that alienates us. We strive for foolish, materialistic ideals instead of enjoying the time that we have.

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
    -What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
    -Yes, my dear.

Meh, not much really... just the perfect balanced combination of family, love, wealth, success, adventure, health and happiness, like I said, not much.

Hey Colmena, would you settle for the neo tribal life? Here we are, you and I, part of the global village. Whatever you feel affects me on the other side of the Earth and whatever affects me reaches you in Old Blighty at the speed of light.

We are no longer separate individuals. Look, we live in each other's pockets.

We think the same thoughts - we feel the same feelings - and we can enjoy the time we have together - if we want to.

So Colmena we are moving out of an alienating literate culture into a communal electronic culture as I write, and as you read, this.

Breathe deeply and know you are already here - this is your tribe.

    Yes?

    Ted.
