All that's missing is a how-to for decorating that special pot plant.

@kquirk, yes! The first two are beautiful and must-includes. The third, lol, I can see I'm gonna need to create a video just for this, @RedruM's and others like them. I'll need a name for it that'll benefit most from SEO tags - need to make it as easy as possible for those out there who aren't quite as capable in that moment of typing anything into google that's too complicated.

    Greatest carol ever:

'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

Suppose a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?"
"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.
    Piglet was comforted by this.
    - A.A. Milne.

Not sure if this fits in the spirit of the Christmas Carol list, but here is one of my favorites:

Also, may I submit this as the absolute worst Christmas song ever?

Carol of the Bells is always and will always be my favorite. It's intense, and sobering, and absolutely beautiful in every way. I'm a huge fan of rock-like renditions of it, but the classic way to sing it is also really awesome. Children singing it is great too.

The Grinch is my favorite happy-ish carol.

Silent Night, while good, puts me right to sleep, even when sung badly.. so I guess that's out so far as caroling goes.

I haven't gone singing for Christmas Carols since 2011. The last time I did it was for my Grandmother in her nursing home, and I haven't really felt up to it since then.

Ha! That's definitely different. I'm not sure if I'll be able to use it, but I like it, so I'll see what I can do.

This one has been mentioned to me on facebook, and I'm in complete agreement. Has to be included.

Another that has to be in it. It's an absolute must-see every December. So much Grinch love.

I'll put it closer to the end for the narcoleptics.

Yeah, I did it a lot when I was young. Was in choirs each year and did the plays, the singing, the gift distribution, the works. It's hard to pinpoint why, because I'm a huge cynic usually, but I get a kick out of letting go and getting into the spirit of things at this time of year. I still wish Santa would suddenly appear one December, perhaps in a UFO, and shock the world.

Wow, thanks for this. Many of the links are shot, but the titles can still be read, so it's very useful.
