Whatever I knew before is not what I know now and what I will know will not be what I now think I understand.
'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

Suppose a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?"
"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.
    Piglet was comforted by this.

No but if it's on a Friday you have to wait until Monday to go to court and you're stuck there all weekend.

I think this is a wonderful idea for a thread, Prpl. Very thought-provoking. I've only come up with three so far. I'll try to add more as I think of them.

    1. Be more forthright.

    2. Some people aren't worth interacting with whatsoever.

    3. Sometimes the nicest thing you can do for someone is to leave them alone and let them live their own life.
