    Lately (the last month):

    0500: alarm goes off. Snooze.
    0510: alarm goes off. Snooze.
0520: alarm goes off. Turn off alarm. Instant coffee. Feel colonial (in a shameful way).
0523: stumble outside for a cigarette. Drink coffee. Swat mosquitoes.
    0530: shower.
0540: dress, gather up misc. work-related items. Consider making provision for breakfast and lunch. Decide against it on the basis that I probably won't get hungry.
0553: roaring down highway 1, smoking cigarette.
0559 (about 3/4 of a cig later): arrive at work. Regret waste of remainder of cig.
    0602: work.
    0603: get hungry.
0603-1400: reflect on poor decisions made in life, attempt to arrange them into some kind of linear chart. Fantasize about playing an instrument/ninja skillz/backpackers. Factor this into chart. Attempt to keep eyes from glazing at conversations of workmates.
    1410: go home.
1415: gaze forlornly at my dead (probably of p0rn-related causes) computer.
1436: smoke a cigarette whilst reading Douglas Coupland/PK Dick novel. Swat mosquitoes.
1450: consider daytime TV - feel unclean.
1451: access the internet on borrowed computer. Research components for new computer. Read comics. Check facebook. Neglect friends-invitations. Check rugby websites for news. Loathe South Africans. Revile myself for low-brow interests. mbtic.
1700ish: feel depressed and bored, go to bed.
    1705ish: read.
1735ish: sleep. Often with light on.

I'd like to make the observation that forum members tend (at least those who've responded so far) to:

    1)Not keep normal sleeping hours
    a Stay up really late
    b Don't get much sleep

2)Watch a lot of porn on their computers.

Hmm... sort of a regular weekday for me:

5-5:30: Wake up. Try to get back to sleep. Fail.
6:30: Alarm goes off. Groan a few times. Get up.
    6:30-6:40: Brush teeth, shave, etc.
6:45-7:15 Do some sort of cardio stuff - jogging, stationary bike, etc.
7:15-7:35 - take shower, get dressed
    7:40-7:50: drive to train station
7:50- 8:15: read a book while riding the train to work
8:20:1:30 - at work, doing work-stuff (or sitting in meetings)
1:30-2:15 - read a book while eating lunch
2:15-4:45 - more work (or meetings)
4:45-5:20 - Ride train, then drive home
5:25-6:00 - check email at home, snack
    6:00-6:40 - weight machine
6:45- 7:00 - eat a sandwich or something for dinner
    7:00-11:00 - internet, forums, chatting a bit, maybe some TV / DVD's
11:00 - go to bed. Hope I can sleep.

Not terribly exciting most of the time :rolleyes2:

6AM - Alarm goes off. Lie in bed til 6:24ish (I know to the minute when I need to get up by, to make it to the bus, and then work, when I need to)
6:24AM - Get out of bed, get ready, eat breakfast
6:58-7:08AM (depending on how late I'm running) - Leave the apartment, get in car, 5 minute drive to bus station
7:03-7:13AM (I'm pretty much hitting the 7:13 mark these days) - Get on bus
7:40-7:50 - Arrive in downtown Minneapolis
7:45-8 - Get hot water for my tea
8-9 - don't do much work at all; mostly internet surfing whilst pretending to work
9-11:30 - Going back and forth between the net, actual work, bathroom breaks, chitchatting with my INFJ coworker in the cube across from mine, and meetings as scheduled
    11:30-12:30 - long lunch break
12:30-4 - meetings and work, combined with more net surfing depending on how critical I see the work as being - i.e. if not deemed critical, I don't rush to do it
    4 - leave work
    4:05 - catch bus
4:45 - arrive at bus station, get in car, go home
    4:50ish - arrive home
    5ish - eat dinner
    5ish - 9ish - never really a 'routine' - various things.
    10-11pm-ish -- go to bed

6AM - body wakes up without the alarm, because I'm used to that time. Go back to sleep
8-9AM - officially wake up and get up
9AM-10PM-ish -- never really a 'routine', but usually a combo of net stuff, getting outside/going somewhere else to hike or walk, reading, painting, sometimes getting together with a friend.

    Work day:

My alarm clock is set 20 minutes ahead. I think I know why I originally did this although it wasn't my idea. Now, I'm afraid to change it.

6:30AM - Alarm clock goes off and is snoozed until
7:10-7:20 - Grumble about getting up while simultaneously trying to figure out what time it really is and what shirts i've already worn this week. Worry that I may have to iron and have no time to do so.
7:20 - Without coming to any conclusions about the above concern, get up to spend about 20 minutes in bathroom showering/urinating/teeth brushing/shaving etc
7:40 - get dressed in least wrinkled clothes (excluding whatever i wore previous day)
7:45-7:55 - drive to commuter boat
8:00-8:45 - read book on commuter boat
8:45-9:00 - walk from boat to work
    9:00-9:15 - Internet
9:15 - get coffee (wonder why i waited so long to get my coffee)
9:16AM-12:00PM - you know, internet or work depending on who is looking over my shoulder; get more coffee
    12:00PM-1:00 - lunch (1st food of day)
    1:00-5:30 - same as 9:16-12
5:30-7:00 - go home; same process as the morning but in reverse
7:00-12:00 - TV; Internet; dinner (no particular order)
somewhere between 12am and 2am decide reluctantly to go to sleep

    ehh whatever

    a yes
b most days I nap, so it depends
2)no, though I don't usually fast forward through sex scenes in podcast novels unless they are really explicit
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
