Default What is your base happiness level?

I am convinced that some people are just genuinely happier than others and that they aren't simply "faking it." There's always been a huge contrast between my giddy mother and my brooding father.

My base happiness level, just like my base energy level, is quite low. I'm not going to assign a number to it, but it appears to be lower than the general population. Some people just genuinely aren't good at being happy.

Armchair psychologists like to refer to this as "depression," but it's really not the case. Some people are happier than others and some people are less happy. Those who fall under the general population's happiness level can still experience happiness...it's just less often.

I would say average to slightly above average happiness.
I like to rock n' roll all night and *part* of every day. I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1-3.

i agree that people just have different levels as their default state.

like non situational just base level state of mind.

and what's interesting to me about that is how weird it is to see them experience the opposite of that. like not super happy person being very happy. it's a trip and i love seeing it.

also happy person stressed or sad is one of the worst things to see i think.

Gah this is the worst. You get used to seeing depressive people being depressive...but when someone who is always so happy becomes down, it's almost painful.

Generally speaking- I'm an abundance of ENFP love energy and happiness. Even now- going through a really tough time- I'm still fairly light on my feet. I cannot help it. I'm wired this way since childhood. Even when I'm grieving or in a very introverted mode, I will still be positive towards people that approach me.

I'm very happy about my possibilities, and very angry about my present condition.

    On a scale of 1-10, probably 3-4.

Depends on how much I'm living up to my own expectations.
