My eyes are now fixed on that.

(I haven't noticed the square either.)

But now I noticed that the forum heading is pixelized. I also noticed that the letter "a" looks more like the letter "o"

    This is very irritating.

I like the yellow square, it's got a wabi sabi thing going on for the banner there.

The M looks like a spaceship from Space Invaders.

The B looks like a sideways ghost from Pacman.

    No comment about TI.

The C looks like a very hungry Pacman eating a less hungry Pacman (with a white arm) who is after a Pacman that has fallen over. It's all so dramatic!

    No comment about 'tra/ol'.

I think it's a misspelling. This is what they intended:

Yeppers, our little yella friend has been there since they put up the theme. I think it's actually pretty important for color harmony and balance (seriously).

What grabs me about the masthead is that the subtle shaded shapes in the background, especially toward the left, always look to me like they're animated, waving very slightly.

Oh, geez, thanks a lot for bringing that to my attention. Argh.

Maybe we can put it through a double slit experiment and see its wave nature xD
