    Why do people like discussing touchy subjects that people might vociferously disagree with, and then get upset when people vociferously, or sometimes even not vociferously, disagree with those subjects?

    What's up with that? The skillz?
    [Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11

    Didn't you know? You're not supposed to actually talk about it, you're supposed to just agree with them and applaud their opinion.

    I have too much to do in too little time. I'm trying to learn a new language, complete 2 real classes and 5 for-fun classes, sew a quilt, plan a trip during the Holidays, buy land and negotiate with investors, clean an impossible to clean house, help family members, and secure my position in my college for the next year and a half of endless studying, AND I have a lot of decisions to make on my own personal life.. this doesn't even count any of the projects I want to get working on for my own personal enrichment. All while working at a minimum wage job.

    It's been super hectic, and no end in sight.

    @Sinmara

    Can I whine about myself in the sense of attacking myself and insulting myself?
    'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

    I'm surprised this thread hasn't blown up with posts considering there seems to be a huge amount of whining going on around here.
