    What makes you think I'm a guy? Haven't you seen Scream 2 and/or 4?

And I've been lurking and murdering around this place for years.

You have to remember, I was raised in a J.W. house, so that means there were never any celebrations…
    Ever…

    Except once a year:
On the night of the fourth full moon of the year, we would sit and solemnly think of the suffering in the world and how it could be over if we could just convert enough people. We would then pass red wine around the table, not speaking or drinking it, then pour it out.

Allegedly, our dead find their way back home, the Veil is lifted for one night and we get to feel their presence once more. i'll be burning a candle for them to find their way back.

Next, there is the reflection on the last year and the cutting out of the dead wood and planning for the next year. Time to make plans, to reevaluate what worked, and what no longer does, as such.
^^ This, mostly. I've had a significant loss this year as well, and sadly am anticipating more in the near future. Two dear longtime colleagues are facing stage 4 cancer, and will probably not be with us next Samhain. I remember the deceased, and commemorate their lives. I contemplate human mortality, and what comes next. Even the simple idea that, when someone dies, the world wakes up the next morning and carries on. The circle of life.
I've been called a criminal, a terrorist, and a threat to the known universe. But everything you were told is a lie. The truth is, they've taken our freedom, our home, and our future. The time has come for all humanity to take a stand...
