    Default Non-Swears

    I try to collect fun ways of unswearing. While I do curse, I usually don't like the feeling it gives me, and I like to get creative with ways of expressing those thoughts.

    Anyone got any good ones?
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    Hey, babe. I know this isn't precisely what you had in mind, but it's the first think I thought of.

    "When you find a stranger in the Alps"?! OMG. That's classic. That may be my new favorite, replacing "I am sick and tired of these monkey-fighting snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane!"

    As a parent of a kid who used to engage in hearty echolalia, I've had to get creative with non-swearing. Most start with F or S as they usually come out when I've already started to say fuck or shit.

    I will curse out the next person I hear say "Shut the front door." If they make a habit of it, I'll continue to curse them out until they make a habit of cursing.

    None of which I use...lol
    (I prefer the regular swear words; they satisfy me, rather than my grandmother)

    Not that creative, but I use the following to express negative regard: garbage, idiot, stupid, foolishness, rubbish, trash, sonofa.
