It's basically a broad faith that includes many forms of spirituality within it and sees religious tradition/thought in general as productive, rather than excluding ideas.

I went to a UU church over the summer with a friend, and the pastor (who was a woman) talked about Mohammed as well as some of the Jewish rabbis, although the service itself felt very modern Methodist.

I came out universalist unitarian as well this time out.

What's funny is that it used to rank all 25-30 faiths and your percentage score. Now it just spits out an answer without any score attached; that's kind of a downgrade, IMO. I thought one of the most interesting parts of the former test was seeing how close your beliefs were to faiths you might not have realized you shared some values with.

EDIT: Oh, they e-mailed me the FULL results.

    (100%) Unitarian universalism
    (88%) liberal quaker
    (70%) secular humanist

If you enter a valid email address (I used my spam catcher email), it will send you a ranked list of religions. But then if you do that, you'll probably also have to deal with them spamming you.

Yeah, we cross-posted -- I had just updated my former post with the full results.

Agreed. They still got mine right-- Christianity, but there were really no answers that matched what I would have actually answered had someone asked me in real life. :/

    What Unitarian Universalists Believe
Central tenets of Unitarian Universalism, based on the questions in the Belief-O-Matic quiz.
There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.

I got buddhism. Personally, if I had to choose one school of thought that best fit my world-view, I'd say Taoism. So, close enough.

The only problem with these types of quizzes is that they make the answer choices very obvious. It's very easy for someone to change their answers to manipulate the results. Still fun though.

The Belief O' Matic one links me up to Unitarian Universalism, followed by Liberal Mainline Protestant.

The other test I got Christianity.
