like you say something, and you want the person to say something specific.

    Hm.

Well, I definitely do try to steer certain conversations in directions I would like them to go. Who doesn't do that? That doesn't mean I necessarily want 'control' or that I'm being manipulative, I'm just trying to guide them such that something I want to discuss gets discussed, or that some decision I feel needs to be made is eventually made.

"Do I wish I could control someone's reaction?" is tough to answer. I'm not going to lie and say, for instance if I ask a woman out on a date, that I don't want her reaction to be an emphatic "Yes!". The fact that I'm asking means I want her to say yes. At the same time if she says no it's better to hear it then, right away, than to find out later that she's not all that enthused. So, in that respect, I'd have to say I'd rather people were just honest even if things don't go according to 'plan'.

Besides, some of the best reactions you could possibly get from someone are the ones you never imagined.

It'd be nice, but in the end I don't think I'd want that.

I wish sometimes people would think/ask questions more often, before emotionally reacting to their own kneejerk conclusions, but I don't have any desire to actively "control" anyone. I try to learn from people, & I enjoy that, so.. anything goes, really. Even if I dislike it in the moment.

My prediction is Fe types will tend to vote yes and Fi types will tend to vote no.

My reaction to the question is why would I?
